Summer Activities
Our Alpine huts are available to book all summer long except for during November when trail conditions are at their most fragile. Snow Farm will be closed during this time. All Exclusive bookings are allowed one support vehicle until April 1st.
Our network of 55km of trails is great for summer biking excursions for an easy car-free trail ride. For the more adventurous head up past the meadow hut to the kirtle burn trail and to the summit of Mt Pisa for breathtaking views down into Lake Dunstan and enjoy a long gradual descent down top beat with lakes Wanaka and Hawea and Mt Aspiring as your backdrop.

Book bag transfers and packages for hut bookings from 12pm to 12pm the following day
Road Toll
Back-country Ski Touring - Pay the road toll for use of the Pisa Conservation Area (not needed for season pass and trail pass holders)
Snow Play, Snowshoe and Cross Country Skiing
Snow Farm is the place to go for snow experiences, unlike any other mountain. We have a dedicated snow play area, the Snow Fun Zone, filled with tubes and snow so you can slide down hills, build snowmen and settle a family dispute with a snowball fight!
We also have snowshoeing and cross country skiing for the more adventurous, but rest assured both of these activities are easy for first-time snow bunnies.

ALPINE HUTS
Snow Farm Alpine Huts are between four and six kilometres from the base area, and take one to three hours to travel to by skis or snowshoes in winter. During the summer months, these huts can also be accessed on foot and mountain bikes, offering a unique alpine experience.
